Moonpaw tilted her head to one side, her eyes filled with confusion.
Nightpaw was first to respond, "What do you mean by they won't have any powers?" Her emerald eyes flared with confusion, too.
"She's gone, Nightpaw. Unless you wish to sneak into the Nursery," Sunpaw stifled a hiss. Her amber-green eyes were soft, not full in confusion as well.
As Nightpaw sulked back to the apprentices' den, Robinwing, her mentor, slipped wearily out of the warriors' den.
"Nightpaw! Where do you think you're going? You'd better eat because we're going out for training soon!" the she-cat called out. Her bright amber eyes gleamed.

Prologue
It was like she was hypnotized. It was like her father rarely cared about her or her siblings at all. Perhaps it was just something small, but she didn't know it was all too real until she attacked.
Moonkit, a small kit at the time, was just leaping at her sister, Sunkit. Her father, Darkclaw, controlled her with his intimidating voice until she had enough of his silly games. Enough of his lies and broken promises. Moonkit decided to fight back.
So there Moonpaw was, twitching in her sleep. Her sisters, Sunpaw and Nightpaw, were beside her. It was a very chilly night, and she needed the extra warmth of the other apprentices. She w
